10 Women’s Outfits Ideas for This Summer 2024

The countdown to the arrival of summer 2024 has begun and, as always, it comes packed with trends to put together some stunning summer looks for women. Although we could probably sum them up very simply, i.e. that practically everything is in, the only limit is set by your imagination and your desire to play with fashion

Some of the most repeated trends in the collections of many brands are sleeveless T-shirts, hoodies, super short crop tops, transparencies or the return of Capri trousers and long skirts. Alongside these trends we find others that are perhaps a little more special, such as leopard print trousers or cherry red garments and accessories, undoubtedly the colour of the season in women’s fashion.

But these very special trends in women’s clothing come to coexist with great classics of summer fashion such as lace, perforated fabrics, flowing dresses or materials such as linen or cotton.

So there’s a whole universe of possibilities to create the best summer looks for women.

Out of Context

Sometimes an item of clothing worn outside its normal context may be the best way to transform it from something to keep you cool in the blistering summer heat into “the look”. That’s what happens if you combine the classic sleeveless, unstructured dress with trainers or mules instead of classic flat sandals. A perfect combination for day-to-day city life in hot weather.

Cool Denim

Who said denim couldn’t be worn in summer? Of course we’re not talking about thick denim, but one of those lighter and more fluid denim fabrics that we see in garments such as maxi skirts that promise to be a hit this summer, especially high-waisted ones. And to create a perfect summer outfit for women with it, all you need is a white tank top and a pair of flat sandals. It couldn’t be simpler.

Game of Volumes

High-waisted trousers are one of this summer’s must-haves, and also one of the most versatile garments. If you choose a narrow style, we recommend that you combine it with a cropped top (and if it’s also a bit oversized you’ll give it an extra style). And if you choose a wide one, don’t hesitate and opt for a tight-fitting top. Also, you can’t go wrong by choosing flat sandals as footwear.

Chic Summer

This may be one of the most surprising combinations among the 2024 summer trends, but we’re sure it’ll be a hit on the streetstyle scene. If you’re looking for a look that can withstand the city’s high temperatures without losing any glamour, all you need is a long pencil skirt and a long crew-neck waistcoat in the same fabric and colour (choosing neutrals will give you a more sophisticated look). A perfect outfit that you can elevate with some good flat sandals with metallic touches.

Romantic Classic

It wouldn’t be summer if we didn’t talk about a white dress. But far from minimalist trends, this time we think you should go for a more romantic women’s summer outfit; opt for puffed sleeves, lace or even some mesh inserts. We’re all about adding a dash of edge to the outfit, with some trainers thrown in for a contrasting look.

Light Layers

Playing with proportions and layering is one of the keys to a stylish women’s summer look. On this occasion we recommend playing with colour too, going for trousers in a fabric-like linen in a neutral tone and then pairing them with a tunic or a wide blouse in a vibrant colour. The best footwear to match? Without a doubt, women’s espadrilles.

In Full Colour

If there is something that is associated with summer, apart from light fabrics, it’s colour. And if you are one of those people who can’t do without their jeans, even in summer, we invite you to dare to wear colourful jeans this time. By making them the star of the outfit, you only need to add a simple T-shirt or blouse… But you can also take a risk and choose them printed with colours that complement the trousers. What do you prefer?

Monochrome

Whether you’re too lazy to combine colours or you just want to be trendy, choosing a monochrome outfit can be the solution. The clothes you use for it are the least important if you like them and they are comfortable, the interesting thing in this case is to get the perfect monochrome look. White, beige, khaki… Or how about cherry red?

The Summer Flower

While it’s true that spring looks are the ones that traditionally go for floral prints, we suggest a summer full of flowers as well. Choose a dress in vibrant colours, one that makes you feel good just by looking at it. Then all you need is a pair of espadrilles for a comfortable, uncomplicated, everyday women’s summer look.

Back to the 90s

We already know that nostalgia is usually one of the great sources of inspiration, and when it comes to summer 2024 outfits, this is still the case. We recommend a casual and youthful combination that is perfect for everyday wear. Simply combine a maxi dress in the colour of your choice (or even printed) with a white short-sleeved T-shirt underneath. With a pair of ballet flats, flat sandals or trainers you can adapt it to almost any occasion and style. An ideal summer look for women, isn’t it?

Museums such as the Louvre or the Musée d’Orsay delight art fans, while fashion lovers can revel in exhibitions or the shop windows of the major European fashion houses. There are also charming neighbourhoods such as Montmartre or famous landmarks including Moulin Rouge, the Cathedral of Notre-Dame or the Arc de Triomf. If you’ve never been to the French capital and you’re looking to make some special memories, for your first visit to the Eiffel Tower, we recommend you approach it from the Place du Trocadéro or on board one of the popular Batobus that go up and down the Seine River.

Budapest is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, highlighted by its stunning architecture and unique position split in two by the Danube River. Known as the City of Spas, it has had 118 of these baths since 1934, both natural and man-made, making it a very popular destination in Europe among those looking for the perfect combination of a beautiful setting and relaxation after a long day of sightseeing. Don’t forget to pack your swimming costume or bikini so you can explore some of the most popular spas. The view over the Danube at night, lit up by the lights along the promenade, is one that will stay with you forever.

Why not let yourself get swept away by the beauty of its charming city centre and enjoy the romantic atmosphere, even on rainy days? Amsterdam offers highlights such as the Anne Frank Museum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum. We recommend you take a tour of the city’s canals by boat

As with all major capitals, the historical and the contemporary come together in a unique atmosphere that is full of life. Through its architecture, you can learn all about its history, without forgetting, of course, the amazing restaurants and night life. It is very difficult to run out of something to do or see in Madrid, as the cultural and entertainment offer is one of the most varied in Europe.

Venice

Its canals are one of the most reproduced images on postcards and paintings of Italy, and that’s because Venice is unique. The city of canals, and one of the most beautiful European cities, is made up of more than 118 islands joined by a network of canals and bridges, giving you an unparalleled experience. Its historical architecture, palaces and works of art are an added attraction in such a magical setting.

However, Cologne also has the ideal entertainment offer for those that don’t want to stand still for a second, just look at its restaurants, galleries, music venues and theatres.

Lisbon

Lisbon is romantic, cosmopolitan, lively… Lisbon is everything, and it has a charm that makes everyone fall in love with it. From its historical centre full of examples of the Portugal of yesteryear, teeming with tiles and charming houses, to the beaches and viewpoints where some of the most spectacular sunsets in Europe can be seen. The Portuguese capital is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe in its own right.

Brussels

The political centre of the European Union is more than just the European Parliament and the continent’s latest political news. The city has exceptional examples of architecture, such as the Grand-Place. But it also offers great attractions for those with a sweet tooth, such as Belgian chocolate, or a huge variety of beer for aficionados. However you look at it, Brussels does not go unnoticed.

Adventure tourism: the most exciting destinations in Europe

We know it is impossible not to think about your next holiday, especially when day-to-day life seems a little heavy. But, are you also one of those cautious people who like to prepare everything in advance?

If you are a lover of adventure trips and want to start preparing your next holiday so that all you have to worry about later is enjoying it, you’re in luck. Today we have some suggestions to enjoy the best adventure tourism without leaving Europe.

Adventure tourism in Spain

We already knew that Spain is a prize destination. But, did you know that at the latest World Travel Awards, Huesca was chosen as the best adventure destination in Europe? The renowned magazine has highlighted the Aragonese province as the best option on the continent thanks to its broad offering to enjoy climbing, canyoning, hiking, rafting, horseback riding… Practically everything you can imagine.

But if your thing is to be closer to the sea, Spain has another destination that will fascinate you, Cádiz. There not only can you enjoy water sports such as kitesurfing, windsurfing or surfing with impressive waves, but also practice canyoning and rappelling in the surroundings of the Guadiaro River. Choose some practical unisex flip flops before travelling to the Cádiz coast and enjoy the thousand different plans it offers you.

Adventure tourism in France

France is also known for having many places where you can enjoy adventure trips. We have chosen the Calanques National Park, between Marseilles and Cassis. There you can choose between different excursions along the trails that will show you the treasures of its geological, plant and animal heritage. You can also swim in the incredible waters of the Calanques or enjoy water sports.

Also near Marseilles are the Pagnol and Garlaban hills, between Marseilles and Aubagne. The place invites you to discover its valleys with its hiking routes, offering a spectacular panoramic view between land and sea. If you are travelling as a couple, make sure you put a spare pair of women’s and men’s sneakers in your backpack because you’re going to need to walk as comfortably as possible. This will ensure you won’t have any problems if any unforeseen event arises.

Adventure tourism in the United Kingdom

Choosing the United Kingdom for adventure tourism means visiting not so well-known regions and being captivated by nature in its wildest form. Therefore, for us, your first destination should be Wales. In the Snowdonia region you can follow some of the best hiking routes in our country suitable for all ages and abilities. There you can also go climbing or enjoy a day’s rafting on Llyn Tegid, the largest lake in Wales.

And, of course, let’s not forget the wild landscape of Scotland. Near Edinburgh and Glasgow you have the opportunity to discover the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The lake is the largest expanse of water in the entire United Kingdom and its tranquillity invites you to enjoy fishing, hiking, rock climbing and horseback riding.

Adventure tourism in Germany

If you thought that Germany couldn’t be an ideal destination for adventure trips, you’re very mistaken. On the coasts of Schleswig-Holstein, in the Bodden, as well as on the beaches of Mecklenburg-Pomerania you can enjoy water sports such as extreme kitesurfing or surfing on waves that will cause you more than just the occasional fall.

If you prefer to be in contact with the water without leaving the continent, you can choose to go canyoning with a totally professional team that will take you through waterfalls and caves in gorges such as Bad Reichenhall, Berchtesgaden, Allgäu and Starzlachklamm.

Adventure tourism in Italy

When it comes to adventure tourism in Europe, nothing compares to the Italian Dolomites. These UNESCO World Heritage site mountains offer many hiking routes where you can enjoy deep valleys or visit small towns. It is also possible to find places for climbing, enjoy mountain biking routes or fly over this impressive landscape on a paraglider.

For adventure trips more in contact with water, you have the opportunity to visit the Amalfi coast and explore its sea routes on a kayak. An exceptional way to enjoy the magic of this coast that captivates more and more people from within and outside Europe every year.

Adventure tourism in Portugal

Portugal has also become a leader in adventure tourism thanks to the attractions that its nature offers. In mainland Portugal you have the opportunity to travel the 12 km long wooden path, a World Travel Awards winner, that runs along the Mondego River and is located within the Estrela Geopark, protected by UNESCO.

But if you want something more active, we recommend a canyoning and rappelling adventure in the Azores Islands. The archipelago offers spectacular experiences to visitors with the advantage of enjoying an exceptional climate throughout the year and totally wild landscape.

Have you already chosen the perfect destination for your adventure holiday?

Why do people dress up in green on St. Patrick’s Day?

Although this celebration originated in Ireland, St. Patrick’s Day is increasingly celebrated around the world. And no-one can resist this celebration full of the colour green and a sense of joy.

St. Patrick’s Day is held every year on 17 March, which marks the death of the patron saint of Ireland in the 5th century. However, this celebration with a religious origin has grown over the centuries, transforming into a day all about good luck charms such as shamrocks, beer and anything you can imagine that is green.

It’s a huge celebration and symbol of Irish culture, and we are going to talk about it today.

Dress up in green on St. Patrick’s Day with Havaianas

Why is the colour green used on St. Patrick’s Day?

If there’s a nickname that the island of Ireland is known for, it’s the Emerald Isle. And, whether you believe it or not, that nickname has a lot to do with the use of green in the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Although the patron saint St. Patrick was originally associated with the colour blue (which even appears on old Irish flags), in the 18th century, a decision was taken to change it to green, which is how we know it today. But how did this change come about? The reason is very simple, it was in that century that the shamrock became a national symbol of Ireland, so it was decided that its patron saint should also be associated with it.

There are also other reasons why green has come to symbolise this day. As you know, Ireland is a country full of legends and the home of leprechauns. These tiny mythological beings are known for being great pranksters, mischievous and lovers of crowds. But what does dressing in green have to do with them? It’s the best way of blending in with the environment to avoid them finding you, pinching you or causing mischief.

It is also believed that green, being the same colour as the four-leaf clover, brings good luck. And for those who are Irish, it is a way of paying tribute to their Irish heritage.

St. Patrick’s Day: origin and history

We know how this day is celebrated nowadays. But have you ever wondered about the origin of this day to honour Ireland’s patron saint? As already mentioned, this date marks the death of St. Patrick, who was born in Roman Britain at the end of the 4th century, before being kidnapped and taken to Ireland.

However, what made him patron saint of the island was his conversion to Christianity. Some legends also state that he was responsible for the miracle of getting rid of snakes from Ireland, or that he explained the Holy Trinity to the Irish using the 3-leaf clover, a national symbol.

From the time of his death, this day has been celebrated with religious services and feasts. The parades in his honour, like the ones seen today in the US, actually began there and not in Ireland. According to historical sources, on 17 March 1601, one such parade was held in the Spanish colony now known as St. Augustine, in Florida. However, these sources refer to an initial parade from the year before, in 1600, organised by the vicar of the colony.

This tradition quickly took root, as more than a century later, Irish soldiers that served in the English army in the American War of Independence, organised the first St. Patrick’s Day parade in New York, on 17 March 1772.

Clothes and accessories for St. Patrick’s Day

It isn’t essential, but dressing in green on St. Patrick’s Day is always a good option. You can opt for a total look in this emerald colour, or you can go for touches of this colour in whatever you choose to wear that day, such as green socks

If you find this tradition as fascinating as we do and you want to attract good luck, honour your Irish ancestors or throw off the leprechauns to avoid more than one pinch, we have some suggestions for how you can celebrate this day.

For example, if you are lucky enough to be somewhere with good weather, you can opt for some green flip flops or sandals for your feet. You can also choose footwear that is more suitable for other climates, such as green espadrilles. Or why not go and spend some time in nature and dress in green?Whatever you decide to do to celebrate this day, remember that a bit of green will do you no harm and it will connect you to this Irish tradition.

Winter style: The best outfit ideas for women

Yes, we know that it is so cold that if you could you wouldn’t go outside… Or you would do so in your favourite pyjamas and wrapped tightly in a warm blanket. But if you have to do so the best option is to choose winter outfits to face the low temperatures without sacrificing style

Women’s winter outfits are mostly based on very basic and versatile key garments in neutral colour palettes that allow for countless combinations. Greys, blacks, beiges, even white can be found in coats, jackets, skirts, trousers and shoes, constituting a wardrobe essential

But, why opt only for such simple garments? The layering that a winter outfit entails is also an opportunity to combine different textures, prints and colours. Tones such as mustard, greens or others in fashion this autumn-winter season such as burgundy also have their place in outfits to combat the cold.

The key to women’s casual style in winter is experimentation and overcoming fear. Combining a printed blouse with tweed trousers, leather trousers with a thick cardigan, satin skirts with sweatshirts and boots… The limit? It simply doesn’t exist as long as you are comfortable and protected from the cold.

Even if it is very cold, those accessories that are very often the finishing and personal touches to the look should not be forgotten either. Whether it’s a pair of gloves, a bag or a maxi scarf to wrap yourself in almost completely. Whatever your favourite, never forget it when you go outside.

And since the best way to show you that your next winter outfits do not have to be all the same or boring, we provide some ideas below that you can apply on your next outing.

Winter outfit idea 1: The most practical executive

One of the major winter trends is tailoring. Formal trousers with waist pleats and belt loops have become a staple in the wardrobe of any woman for combining with all types of T-shirts and blouses. We suggest you combine them with a far more casual garment such as a puffer and some boots. A contrasting look that balances the elevated style of these types of trousers with the practicality of a quilted coat. Feel like trying it?

Winter outfit idea 2: Multi-functional for everyday life

There is nothing more basic than a pair of straight jeans. Or a white blouse. Or a blazer… And if you put them all together? This look is suitable for going to work and visiting an exhibition or enjoying an afternoon of shopping. With a coat on top, of course. Complete your outfit with some moccasins or sports shoes and you will be ready to hit the streets despite the cold.

Winter outfit idea 3: Sporty elegant

This just may be the most surprising winter outfit of all, but believe us when we tell you that it has ever more fans, and we are not surprised! All you need are some tracksuit bottoms and a plain sweatshirt in your favourite colour, some sports shoes and a structured or classic cut coat. An ideal combination for going to and returning from your training, for going shopping or for enjoying a relaxing day.

Winter outfit idea 4: The comfort of oversize

The oversize trend arrived a few years ago and refuses to leave us, something we are not going to complain about, because it has given us the most comfortable casual winter outfits for these temperatures. What is important in this case is not working hard to create your look, but working intelligently.

All you have to do is combine some simple jeans or a satin skirt with your favourite sports shoes, elements that already establish the basis of the contrast that is key to this style. To finish it off simply choose an oversize jumper or cardigan; what is important is that you like and feel comfortable in them. The rest? That’s your choice, it doesn’t matter if you add a cap, a beanie or a padded sleeveless jacket.

Winter outfit idea 5: Climbing the city

Have you ever considered wearing climbing boots in the middle of the city? They do not necessarily have to be these boots exactly; kickers-style boots will do to give the functional touch to the look. To complete it all you need is a flowy, printed mini dress and a structured jacket (tweed, military style…). Simple, practical and super effective to battle the cold with this women’s winter outfit

Winter basics and essentials: Comfortable clothing for the cold season

The cold has arrived big time! Even thinking about walking out the door in a T-shirt makes our hair stand on end, and despite being aware of the time of year we are in, these low temperatures have taken us by surprise.

The moment has come to say hello to winter fashion and to those garments that keep us warm even when the thermometer is below zero. Fashion that tends to be more practical than what we wear in spring or summer, but which is not totally removed from the trends.

However, it will be impossible to face a season such as this without the winter wardrobe essentials which are virtually present in everyone’s wardrobe. You don’t know what they are? Might you be missing one at home? White shirts, knitted sweaters or coats are some of them, but we will tell you below which ones are the most essential so you can start creating your looks for the cold

Winter fashion for women: Basics and essentials

Everyone is different, but even if they have completely different styles we can find some garments that have become winter basics for any woman. These garments can be combined again and again to obtain all types of outfits to stay comfortable and warm in this season.

Trousers for winter

The first of these essentials are the suit trousers. It doesn’t matter what colour you choose, what is important is that these types of trousers have become the kings of the wardrobe due to their versatility. They can be combined both with a T-shirt, and a shirt or a jumper. It is best to choose them with waist pleats, straight leg and belt loops.

Another essential are jeans because what would become of daily looks without a pair? In winter fashion they can be used both casually with a jumper or cardigan, and a little bit more formally accompanied by a blouse and a good coat. The best option are the straight leg with a medium or high waist, as they help stylize the figure

Coats and knitwear

The faithful companion of these two garments among the winter basics are knitwear. There is no better way to face the low temperatures than by choosing knitwear, particularly garments with a soft touch and that feel super comfortable when you use them. Whether a cardigan accompanied by a shirt or T-shirt, or a turtleneck jumper to keep yourself protected from the cold, knitwear is an essential for winter

Finally, coats. The final layer of our winter looks can be as practical as the puffers that have become so famous in recent seasons. Or you can opt for a classic trench coat for more elegant and timeless looks. Our choice? Wear what you feel warmest in.

Winter fashion for men: Basics and essentials

In men’s fashion it is also possible to find winter basics that guarantee you a warm season, with good protection against the cold and without sacrificing one bit of style.

The first garment that finds a space in almost every male wardrobe are tracksuit bottoms. This practical garment normally associated with playing sport has become the key to creating both casual looks and some that are even appropriate for going to the office, depending simply on what you combine them with. Put on a T-shirt and jacket to go out with your friends, or combine it with a shirt or jumper plus a formal coat for a new day at work.

In the same way as tracksuit bottoms, the sweatshirt has also become another of the winter basics. Whether printed with a more youthful cut or plain and higher quality for more formal looks, the reality is that the sweatshirt is increasing in popularity thanks to being a very versatile garment. Your own style sets the limit.

Knitwear also has its place among the essential winter garments in a man’s wardrobe, particularly cardigans. Cardigans give a vintage touch to any style and are almost as versatile as sweatshirts since they can be combined with everything.

Finally, the coat. As with women’s fashion, the outer garment par excellence this season is the key piece of the entire outfit. Although it is true that for men classic cuts that can be combined even with tracksuit bottoms to give them a casual touch prevail more, we cannot ignore either that puffers have found a place in every style.

Makeup Trends 2024: What’s In?

Even if the clothes remain the same, how we wear them according to our style makes all the difference. The same goes for makeup and the trends that emerge each year to encourage us to experiment.

Just as each new year brings new perspectives and beginnings, the same applies to makeup trends. After a 2023 with some well-known trends like glittery glazed donut nails, pink tones, or the return of thin eyebrows, 2024 brings new makeup trends to experiment with throughout the year.

You may have already seen some of these makeup trends for 2024 on social media platforms like TikTok or Instagram, but in case you haven’t, we’re going to tell you about some of the ones that will make a strong impact this new year.

Glitter, blush as the star, graphic eyeliners… Which one will you try first?

Shine Like Never Before

In 2024, you won’t need the sun to shine. One of the trends taking over the makeup world is glitter in all its forms and applied to almost everything related to trending makeup.

Shiny eyeshadows, with glitter, metallic, or chromed, take center stage on the eyelids. But shine is not reserved only for the eyes. Bright highlighters will not only allow you to accentuate your prominent features but also give you a futuristic and fantastic look when used in your boldest makeups.

A makeup trend as dazzling as your favorite glitter flip-flops.

The Most Beautiful Witch

Snow White’s evil stepmother was a witch who asked her magical mirror who was the fairest of them all. We have a very clear answer – you, at least if you decide to embrace the witchy beauty aesthetic that bursts onto the makeup trends for 2024.

But what are we talking about? We’re talking about the return of the gothic aesthetic in all its splendor, with light foundations, super-defined lashes, and eye-catching eyeliners that create a much more dramatic eye. Smoky makeups in very dark tones and lipsticks with a colour palette that includes black join them.

Graphic Line

Speaking of eye-catching eyeliners, the more graphic eyeliner style returns with sharp and precise lines to create extreme looks. Double eyeliner, completely straight lines, super elongated ends… All to give maximum importance to the eyes, almost as much as our mini bags, so make sure to have your trusted eyeliner on hand.

Blush Yourself

Blush has never gone out of style, but the way to use it changes from time to time. However, in 2024, it returns to mark the cheeks with a blush reminiscent of porcelain dolls or 80s manga heroines. The so-called “doll blush” seeks to give a fresh and healthy look, as well as sculpt the face to give it a more youthful appearance.

Gradient Returns

During the 90s, there was no fashion photo or red carpet without models and actresses with gradient lips. The progressively darkened outline to a bright and light center was the protagonist of looks back then and will also be a highlight in the makeup of 2024. Accentuate the lip shape by using two different lipstick shades, covered with a bit of gloss for a fuller and juicier look.

Klein Blue

Klein Blue has been a trendy colour practically since its inception, as evidenced by numerous fashion collections. This time, this shade of blue takes over makeup to stand out. A trend only for the boldest, but it will be a hit. Use an eyeliner in this colour, find a shade to create a smoky look… Or go for a total look combining the two previous ones with a manicure in the same shade. All in blue? We say yes.

Look for an Accent

The trending makeup of 2024 is a response to the trend of uniformity and minimalism that has spread in recent years. That’s why this trend is one of the big bets for the coming year because it allows you to stand out with just a pop of colour.
You’ll only need to combine natural makeup with bold red lips, a matte style with a shiny or metallic eyeliner in an unusual shade, or softer makeup with a vibrant eyeshadow. You choose which suits your style the most.
