5 outfits for Traveling at Easter

The Easter holidays are highly anticipated each year. After starting the year full of energy, these holidays are the first break for most people. At Easter, you’ll have a few days to switch off and enjoy either being in your city or just outside, because sometimes you don’t need to go too far in order to break your routine.

But wherever you go at Easter, you’re sure to ask yourself one thing. What is the ideal Easter look? And although it’s impossible to choose just one perfect outfit, what we can do is propose five looks for travelling this Easter, depending on your destination of choice. Take note, let’s get started!

Easter looks for women

As mentioned above, we don’t believe there is such a thing as a perfect Easter look, but there is a perfect look for your destination of choice. For example, if your destination is a city, either at home or abroad, the best thing to do is choose a comfortable outfit with a chic touch. Perfect for walking, but also enjoying the local food and night-life. One tip, don’t forget to take a pair of sunglasses, such as the Lagoinha Shaded Gri from havaianas.

However, if you choose to go to the beach to relax and forget about your routine, taking dips in the sea and enjoying some sunshine, you’ll need to opt for an outfit that prioritises feeling fresh and fabulous. Of course, you may prefer the mountains as a destination this Easter so you can do some hiking, in which case the ideal Easter look for you will combine functionality and fashion.

If you’re not sure of your destination yet, but you do know the climate you would like to spend the holidays in, we have two tips for you: if you like the cold, you can opt for looks that prioritise layers, and if you prefer to switch off somewhere warm, there’s one item you have to have, a bikini, like the ones you can find in our online store.

Easter city look

Let’s suppose you choose a city as your destination this Easter. What is the perfect Easter look for this type of trip? We have no doubts. Opt for a spring blouse with embroidered details or printed flowers combined with frayed hem trousers or a skirt that adds a casual touch to the look.

And how should you accessorise this outfit? You can choose a pair of havaianas Canvas Brasil sneakers so you can walk around the city comfortably or classic havaianas Brasil Logo flip flops and a hat to protect you from the sun as you explore.

Easter beach look

If you have chosen the beach as your destination, the first thing you’re sure to have packed is your favourite bikini or swimming costume. But what about the rest? Easy-peasy, opt for a sarong to cover up if you go to the bar on the beach or to protect yourself from the sun. And for later, don’t forget to take a light beach dress that you can wear comfortably over your swimwear.

Of course, there are other things you mustn’t forget, such as a pair of havaianas Slim flip flops, sunglasses and a hat, so you can enjoy the sun without putting your skin at risk.

Easter mountain look

The mountains are the ideal destination if you like action-packed holidays, enjoying hiking routes, bike rides or outdoor activities. For all that activity, the ideal is to opt for a comfortable and functional look, made up of a T-shirt, a light jacket for when the temperature drops, comfortable trousers with pockets and good quality footwear, including a pair of havaianas Brasil Logo flip flops, for when you’re relaxing back at base, one of the company’s signature products.

However, just as import as the clothes is choosing the right accessories. On your next trip to the mountains, don’t forget a backpack to carry all of your essentials and a hat. That way the only thing you need to worry about is enjoying nature.

Easter look for warm climates

If the only thing you’re clear on is that your holiday destination will be somewhere warm where you can forget about your jacket, we have the perfect Easter look for you. Our proposal is a comfortable dress with spaghetti straps and a bright print, earrings and a raffia bag. Of course, accompanied by the irresistible havaianas You Metallic flip flops. An ideal outfit for a walk along the beach or an ice cream on a terrace.

Easter look for cold climates

If you’re someone who prefers to take advantage of holidays to enjoy much colder climates, we also have suggestions for you. So that you don’t have to abandon comfort or quality, but your look is still fashionable, we propose combining a light wool jumper with dark skinny jeans and, of course, a good coat and a scarf.

Where does havaianas fit into all of this? With the havaianas Malta sandals that you can’t forget, so you can rest your feet in the hotel or apartment after a long day exploring your destination.

@laurapraet

Whether you’re going to the beach, city or mountains, the most important thing is to feel comfortable and fabulous. Remember that fashion is a form of expression, so don’t hesitate to add your personal touch to each outfit. With the right clothes and havaianas in your suitcase, you’ll be ready to enjoy every moment to the max. So get going and start packing your suitcase! An unforgettable holiday awaits you! Happy Easter!

Which colours will be trending in 2025

The cold snap may continue and you might still need to wear several layers to keep you warm on a daily basis. But believe it or not, spring is closer than you think.

If you haven’t thought about it, you don’t need to worry, because the companies that have already presented their collections at fashion weeks have given us a glimpse of which colours will be trending in 2025 and what will define the best looks of the new season.

And yes, it’s time to say goodbye to neutral winter tones in order to welcome more refreshing colours.

Lime green

Lime green is like a breath of fresh air that brings your looks to life. The top trending colour for spring/summer 2025 is a colour that transmits pure optimism and joy.

The havaianas lime green flip flops are perfect for showing off this colour.

Also, although it may seem intimidating, it’s a very easy colour to combine.

If you’re looking to make an impact, opt for a monochromatic look. One tip, combine it with silver accessories and jewellery to make it even more interesting. If you prefer to start out gradually in order to make it suit your style, we recommend you add it in small doses: a scarf, a jumper, a bag…

Remember, it’s a colour that matches perfectly with neutrals like grey, white or navy blue, so you’ll no doubt already have clothes in your wardrobe you can start to experiment with.

The havaianas Slim Color Fun flip flops combine lime green with grey.

chanclas verde lima y gris

Chocolate brown

A dark colour among the 2025 trending colours? Yes, but it’s one of the sweetest and most delicious colours of the season: chocolate brown. This rich tone helps you create the most sophisticated outfits for day and night

One of the biggest advantages of this trend is that it’s a neutral colour, so you can combine it easily with a wide variety of shades, like other earthy tones, natural tones, light blue…

Our suggestion would be to introduce it in 70s-inspired looks with floaty, boho-style dresses and sandals, flared jeans and fur gilets with light blouses… Let your imagination run wild!

Ruby red

Spring may be in the air for the lovers amongst us, but in terms of trending colours for 2025, red is the shade that brings the most passionate vibes. In its brightest version, red is the ideal colour for those wanting to make a statement to the world, showing they’re willing to fight and not give up, but, above all, that they’re open to love.

As always, a total look in this ruby red colour is a winning option, and you can complete it with a pair of flats such as the Una Pitanga red sandals, which perfectly embody the essence of havaianas. You can also tone it down by combining it with denim, colours such as pink in blouse and skirt combinations, or clothes with prints where it is the dominant colour.

Passionate red is a trend, allowing you to stand out from head to toe.

sandalias rojas Havaianas

El rojo pasión es tendencia y te permitirá destacar de la cabeza a los pies

Silver

If you thought that metallic tones were only for jewellery or accessories, it’s time to think again. Silver is one of the trending colours for spring/summer 2025. We know that if you’re not used to it, it might seem a bit complicated to combine a colour like this, but skirts, jackets, dresses or shirts are just some of the items you’ll find in this colour.

How can you combine silver without looking like an astronaut? Try wearing it for an evening out with friends or for special occasions. Or you could tone it down by wearing a silver top with some jeans, for example, or by covering it with an oversize jacket

However, never forget that a silver accessory is always a good choice, like the mini Glitter bag in silver or the Glitter street bag in silver.

Butter yellow

Yellow is one of the colours most associated with good weather, spring, summer… This season it will take centre stage in its softest version, butter yellow, an ideal tone for adding light and joy to any look, you just need to know how. Skirts, shirts, blazers or yellow sandals will add that touch of style and modernity your wardrobe needs.

Sandalias amarillas mantequilla

In order to incorporate it into your outfits, we recommend you combine it with intense colours such as chocolate brown or red, if you want to go for a statement look. However, if you’re looking for something a bit softer and more relaxed, you can combine it with another soft colour such as off-white or another pastel shade.

Powder pink

Almost hand in hand with butter yellow, powder pink is one of the best options if you are looking to emphasise the sensuality and sweetness of your outfits. Though we recommend you use this trending colour in 2025 in moderation if you don’t want to make it overly sweet.

Blouses, dresses, airy skirts, trousers…

The ideal option is to combine them with other colours that add strength, such as burgundy, chocolate brown or red. You could also add this colour in the form of accessories such as shoes or a pink bag, perfect for illuminating the darkest looks.

Tangerine

Whether it’s citrus fruit at the centre of the table or citrus shades, they are perfect for spring and summer, and have always stood out in the most beachy outfits, as swimsuits, towels or even classic orange flip flops. However, unlike other seasons where the trend has lent more towards a more intense tone, this time the orange is toned down and tangerine takes centre stage.

Ideal for when you’re already a bit tanned, tangerine appears above all in dresses of all lengths, with its versatility allowing it to match almost any style. It’s up to you just how daring you want your next look to be.

Oh, Christmas! The lights, gatherings with friends and family, eating out, making toasts, celebrating… and the presents. Even if you’re a big fan of giving Christmas gifts, it’s still possible to run out of ideas. Think about it, some people are harder to buy for because they have everything… or because it’s difficult to find something they’re going to really like.

And because this time of year is for enjoying, we decided to help out by suggesting some Christmas gift ideas, so you just have to decide which one best suits what you are looking for. The Havaianas Christmas gift guide also contains recommendations for gifts to give to everyone.

Original Christmas gift ideas for women

When it comes to finding the perfect gift for someone, the best thing is to know them really well. What they like, what will excite them, their hobbies… the little details that can help you choose something they will definitely like. However, you don’t have to always ask the person in question, you can come up with the best ideas just by being a little bit more observant than usual.

Of course, if you don’t have enough time for this, then here are some original gift ideas for you.

The exclusivity of handmade items

Some handmade items or creations from independent designers are as unique as this time of year. Among our Christmas gift ideas for women, we suggest a handmade piece of jewellery, a bag, a shawl or a scarf. All you need is to find something that best suits their style.

Incredibly fresh skincare routine

If the woman in question is a true skincare lover, then a small fridge for storing her favourite cosmetics could be a hit. That way she can spend a few minutes pampering herself every day to start the morning on a positive note or to wind down at the end of the day.

Travel lovers

Does she travel frequently both for work and pleasure? Then perhaps a good gift idea for your girlfriend, mum or sister would be a… carry-on suitcase that is the perfect size for hand luggage to hold all of their necessities for any destination. A good pair of slippers is also the ideal gift for a tireless traveller. You can put them inside the case and give them two gifts in one!

All about relaxation

Maybe the woman you’re giving to has a lot of stress in her daily life and could do with a little bit of relaxation. What better than to gift her a day spa experience? You could also add a pair of women’s flip flops for her visit.

Go big!

Giving tickets to a concert or musical to someone who would love to see their favourite artist live is always a guaranteed success. It doesn’t have to be a concert, it could be theatre tickets for a musical, etc. The key thing is to think about what they like and gift them an unforgettable experience.

Original Christmas gift ideas for men

People often say that finding gifts for men is harder than for women, but as mentioned earlier, there is nothing like paying attention to the details that make the person in question happy in order to find the perfect present. We hope these Christmas gift ideas for men help you when it comes to buying at this time of year.

Rapid-fire

Do they like music? Video games? Then a pair of headphones could be a good option. You could choose wireless headphones or something more discreet and easy to wear for the daily commute. Whatever you decide, there are many options that will suit that person’s lifestyle perfectly.

Well-equipped

If the person in question loves hiking, day trips, the beach or simply uses one every day, a backpack could be a great choice, always making sure it is comfortable for that person’s back.

A toast to all

Perhaps your dad or partner has become a real barman lately. Why not take advantage of that hobby and encourage them to take it further? Gift them a cocktail set with the perfect glasses to serve their latest creations so that they won’t enjoy them alone.

Under cover

Whether it’s their usual style or just for trips or going to the beach, a well-designed cap with a generous visor could be a winning Christmas gift idea. You could always take advantage and choose a more modern design or their favourite colour. And if you’re looking for something more for everyday use, why not buy them a nice, original tracksuit?

For retro lovers

If you’re looking for a gift for a music lover, you have loads of options, but a record player could be a great idea, especially if they like all things vintage. Choose a suitcase-style record player or something more modern. What’s important is for them to be able to enjoy their vinyl discs… you could also complete your gift by buying their favourite disc.

Original Christmas gift ideas for children

The smallest members of the household are usually the easiest to buy for at Christmas, but you don’t need overwhelm them with toys in order to make them happy. Here are some Christmas gift ideas for children.

A soaring imagination

Superheroes, princesses, animals… a costume is always a good idea for children who love pretending to be their favourite characters. Let their imagination fly!

Sleeping with the best

It may be one of the most traditional gifts, but it’s also one that children will definitely use. Give them pyjamas featuring characters from their favourite series or comic books and they will look forward to getting into bed.

The best stimulation

There’s nothing like encouraging reading from an early age, that’s why we believe that one of the best gifts you can give to children is books. Look for a theme they will like and is suitable for their age so they can read it themselves and enjoy the story.

Go for it!

Not everyone is lucky enough to live in a place where it’s warm enough to bathe all year round. But if the child in question loves water, why not gift them a swimsuit and some children’s flip flops? As with the pyjamas, you can find them with their favourite characters. Everything’s a bonus!

It’s all about the rhythm

The last Christmas idea we’re going to give you may not be to the parents’ liking, but it is definitely the best option for stimulating children. Giving them a musical instrument will not only allow them to enjoy music from another perspective, but may also help them discover a vocation that will help them in the future.

Christmas is fast approaching and we can’t help but get swept up by the festive spirit. Europe is full of beautiful towns at Christmas, why not get to know them with us.

Colmar (France)

If we said that Colmar is considered the little Venice of France, you would get an idea of how amazing it might be to spend a few days there over Christmas. This medieval town with wooden houses and renaissance buildings fills with lights, nativity scenes and Christmas markets in this period, both for visitors and those who live there to enjoy. It is undoubtedly one of the Christmas towns you can’t miss out on.

Gstaad (Switzerland)

The first time you see Gstaad, you might think it’s straight out of a film. A small mountain town full of wooden houses where some of Switzerland’s most exclusive hotels, ski slopes and shops are located. And as exclusive as its shops and spas (don’t forget your flip flops when you go) are the Christmas festivities that are held there. Advent market, classical music concerts, visits from Father Christmas and even sleigh rides.

Flam (Norway)

Flam is another town to visit at Christmas that you should definitely include on your list. It is located in Aurlandsfjord, and although it’s not very big, it is one of the most beautiful settings to visit at this time of year. Its Flamsbana train has enthralled thousands of visitors, almost as much as its small farms, mountains, valleys and, of course, the charm of the Christmas period with the lights and decorations.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber (Germany)

Another beautiful town is Rothenburg ob der Tauber, in the German state of Bavaria. During the Christmas period, it is home to one of the prettiest markets in the area, where children can meet Father Christmas and adults can enjoy concerts and night-time walks to see the lights in all their glory. If you go, don’t forget to take a comfortable backpack to store everything you buy.

Ochagavía (Spain)

You can also enjoy some of these charming towns at Christmas in Spain. A clear example is Ochagavía in Navarra, on the edge of the magical Irati forest. Its rural architecture from the 11th century, stone façades and slate roofs form an idyllic image that only increases when snow falls and it is decorated for Christmas. An ideal destination if you are also looking for walking routes to enjoy nature, as well as the Christmas atmosphere.

Riquewihr (France)

Alsace is a region full of incredible towns to visit at Christmas with children, one of which is Riquewihr. There is the renowned Wine Tour, but the Käthe Wohlfahrt Christmas shop can also be found among its medieval houses full of wooden details, a place that specialises in Christmas decorations and that becomes a hive of people looking for that special detail with which to decorate their home.

Engelberg is located near to Lake Lucerne, surrounded by mountains and with one of the best ski resorts in all of Switzerland. This town is not only ideal for snow and mountain lovers, it’s also perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of cities at Christmas and find magic and traditions, such as its Advent market.

Manarola (Italy)

One of the most beautiful towns to visit at Christmas in Italy is Manarola. Located in the Cinque Terre region, it is especially unique during the Christmas season thanks to its luminous nativity scene created by Mario Andreoli, which has 300 life-size figures. Hallstatt (Austria)

Austria is home to a town that Disney lovers will quickly recognise. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful all year round, but especially so at Christmas. A magical image that you can’t miss, above all at such a special time of year.

Buitrago de Lozoya (Spain)

Back in Spain is Buitrago de Lozoya, a medieval town in the Sierra Norte of Madrid, that during the Advent and Christmas period becomes a magical location for lovers of these festivities. Not only are its streets filled with coloured lights and products, but it also has a living nativity scene, which almost the entire town takes part in, that began to be performed in 1988. Don’t miss it!

The Black Forest in Germany is home to some of the most beautiful towns at Christmas, such as Schilltach. With its characteristic traditional architecture on the banks of the river canals that traverse it, this small town is transformed into a magical place with one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in the region.

You may associate this name with one of the villains from the Harry Potter saga, but Grindelwald is one of the most beautiful towns you can visit in Switzerland, especially at Christmas. Looking like it’s straight off a postcard, its Christmas market offers artisan decorations, sweets, drinks and gifts that you can’t miss if you visit. Also, if you are lucky enough to be there on 6 December, you may find Father Christmas arriving on a sleigh.

Castleton (United Kingdom)

We know that small towns in the English countryside are magical at any time of year, but Castleton is special. A Christmas tree festival is held there each year, whereby different associations compete for the best decorated tree. In addition, there is a Christmas market with seasonal products and craft, as well as almost daily Christmas carol concerts performed by choirs.

Rovaniemi (Finland)

Of course, if what you want is to visit the town that can officially be considered the true Christmas town, then go to Rovaniemi, Father Christmas’s home. This small town in Finnish Lapland is surrounded by forests full of snow, reindeer and, above all, it has one of the most important figures of this time of year, Father Christmas himself. Customize your Havaianas footwear for this autumn

Your footwear must be comfortable and perfectly adapted to your feet and your daily lifestyle. When buying footwear, it’s normal to want it to be trendy, to follow the season’s colours or to stand out from the rest in some way.

It’s not always possible to find those unique pieces, so we would like to propose something today. Why not customise your trainers? Investing some time and skill into customising your footwear can help you achieve unique shoes that reflect your personality and style

But if you don’t know where to start, don’t worry, Havaianas will give you some ideas so you can complete your wardrobe and your 2024-2025 autumn-winter collection.

If you’re a dab hand…

Imagine you want to customise a pair of canvas trainers or espadrilles and you love flowers and plants. If you’re a dab hand or you would like to give embroidery a try, why not create a little garden at your feet? Embroider your favourite flowers in different stitches and spring will follow you wherever you go. And for the more daring brides-to-be, this option is the perfect change of footwear for their wedding day.

Flag bearers

Maybe the shoes you want to customise are your Havaianas. That’s right, the ones you wear every single day in summer. Well, you’re in luck, because we’ve been thinking about how to do that and we’ve come up with a great idea. What if you decorate them with one of the charms we have created especially for you? Just clip your favourite ones onto the straps and you’re good to go.

Masters of painting

Some people are incredibly talented when it comes to drawing and painting, and that’s who we had in mind when proposing the following: turn your trainers into a tribute to your favourite series or film. Think carefully about the design, choose the characters or symbols you want to include, buy special fabric paints… and start painting!

Trés chic

Customising your trainers and making them one of your chicest accessories is so easy that you’ll probably wonder why you hadn’t thought of it before. Our suggestion? Buy satin or velvet ribbon in your favourite colour or in black, always a hit in this season, and use it to replace traditional laces. The bows will stand out against the sporty style of the shoe, making it appear more elegant and sophisticated.

Stylish even at home

Sometimes we don’t pay attention to the shoes we wear at home, other than making sure they are comfortable or warm enough in the winter months. But why give up on making your slippers a bit more special just because you don’t leave the house in them. With special fabric glue and embroidered patches or appliqués, you can transform your slippers You’ll want to put them on as soon as you get home! Even more so if the base is animal print.

Shine bright like a diamond

A touch of sparkle never hurts, especially when you’re by the sea or pool. So, if you’re not convinced by any of our flip flops, you can always customise your flip flops. All you need is contact glue, crystals in your favourite colour or a seasonal shade such as maroon, and a lot of patience to cover your straps in them. You can also combine these crystals with our charms

Like a gift

Bows are all the rage and you can customise your espadrilles to go with this trend. All you have to do is choose a pair of espadrilles or mule espadrilles that you like and buy some ribbon in the colour of your choice to make a big bow. Once you have a bow for each one, you can sew or glue them onto the front and heel to make them even more special.

Careful, I’m spiky!

If you go for more of a rocker look but you can’t live without your trainers, you’re bound to love this proposal. Grab those lace-up trainers you never take off and go to a craft shop or haberdashery, where you can buy studs and spikes to make those dull but comfortable trainers an essential for any look.

Emerging designers

Maybe you’re clear on the fact that you want a unique pair of trainers, but you don’t really know how to achieve this or which design to choose. If you have little ones at home, why not play with them and find out if there’s a budding fashion designer in the family? Take some fabric paints and give them total freedom to draw whatever they want. There won’t be any other like these and their love will always accompany you, even when they’re at school.

Fringed and crazy

Taking advantage of the fact that fringes are another of this season’s trends, why not put them on your shoes? You can choose espadrilles, trainers or even flip flops. All you need to do is buy a strip of faux suede fringe at your local haberdashery to give your footwear a slightly wilder look.

Comfy outfits: Homewear

There’s no denying it: the clothes we wear at home are usually old clothes that are ripped or stained. There’s nothing wrong with that, as it makes use of those clothes… But what if you didn’t have to compromise on style just because you’re at home?

It doesn’t matter if you work from home or you just want to relax and take care of yourself when lounging around, you can still be chic in your daily life at home. The important thing is that no matter how you normally dress, the clothes you choose when at home must be light and made of soft materials, so that you can still carry out daily tasks without feeling restricted, even if what you like to do most is nothing at all.

Taking a few seconds to choose clothes that you like for when you’re at home can make you feel so much better, so don’t hesitate to make this part of your self-care routine. And because we want you to feel good wherever you are, here are some outfits to inspire you.

Classic sporty look

We know that tracksuits are one of the most basic looks when it comes to homewear, but what normally happens is we use tracksuits that are incredibly comfortable, but no longer “suitable” for going out in public. We therefore propose a monochromatic set in light plush, with wide-leg trousers that give you all the freedom of movement you need, as well as providing those cosy vibes we seek in times like autumn and winter.

Deconstructed tracksuit

Sometimes a tracksuit isn’t as comfortable as you think, especially if you wear it to carry out everyday tasks. We therefore suggest you combine a pair of classic tracksuit bottoms with an oversized T-shirt or a light jumper. An ideal combination if you want to carry out your daily routine as if you were going to receive guests at home.

Perfect adaptation

One of the most comfortable outfits for at home is also one of the easiest to achieve. Combine your favourite leggings with a short sleeve T-shirt and, at the same time, practise your breathing and take some time to focus on you and meditate. You won’t regret it.

Suitable for video calls

If you’re someone that works from home and has to deal with numerous video calls every day, we have a perfect homewear option so you can always look the best dressed. Combine a pair of wide-leg and comfy jeans with a bodysuit and open cardigan. You won’t just have the ideal casual look, you’ll also be able to wear your favourite slippers, the Pink fluffy, both stylish and incredibly comfortable.

Old School

A contrast in volumes is always a success, and this also applies to homewear. For us, a winning combination is a pair of cycling shorts, thick socks and a nice fleece. Perfect for a relaxing afternoon reading on your favourite sofa.

One piece

Sometimes less is more, which is also the case when it comes to looks for at home. A knitted dress can be the ideal solution, especially if you’re not leaving the house but your friends are coming round and you don’t want to compromise on style. Choose knitted or cotton dresses combined with mule-type slippers. If it’s cold, you can also combine them with a cardigan or jumper.

In pyjamas all day long

A guilty pleasure that rarely happens as an adult. Or that’s what you thought. Try spending next Sunday in pyjamas made of a soft fabric such as satin and, as well as resting, we can assure you that you’ll feel better and have more strength to start the week.

Overalls for everything

Some people think of overalls as a look that is only suitable for visiting places like the countryside. However, overalls are very useful and, above all, comfortable for daily life at home. Combining them is very simple, all you need is to add a T-shirt underneath to give the look more volume and dimension.

Snap-button trousers

Yes, we’re talking about those trousers with buttons down each leg that can be opened completely. They are not just incredibly comfortable wide-leg trousers, they can also adapt to your style even without leaving the house. Add a touch of sporty style from the 2000s and combine them with a tank top.

Perfect knitwear

Knitwear is one of the most comfortable fabrics for your homewear. It is soft and light, allowing you to do everything you normally do and more. Choose a matching trouser, top and cardigan or dress and jumper set. Just choose the one that best suits your style when out and about, enjoy how comfortable it is and show off your style as if you were in the best street style catalogue.

10 Halloween costume ideas: Get a spooky look

TV series, cinema, literature… There have been so many references to celebrating Halloween in the cultural products we consume over the last few decades, especially those from North America. There’s also no denying that this scary celebration has slowly been gaining ground here. You’ve probably already been to more than one Halloween party, and the phase trick or treat will sound all too familiar to you.

Sweets and scary figures are just some of its key elements. It’s the Halloween costumes or Halloween-inspired outfits that are the real stars of the show. They don’t always have to be scary characters like those from the most famous horror films, though. So, whether you want to be the bloodiest vampire or a sweet princess accompanied by her frog prince, Halloween is ideal for letting your imagination soar and transforming into whatever you choose.

And, if you need some inspiration, take a look at these ideas.

Halloween outfits for women

Vanishing hitch-hiker, Wednesday Addams, zombie cheerleader… There are so many Halloween looks we could be listing them for days. If you like getting dressed up, you probably don’t need a reason to put on one of your favourite costumes. But if you want to remain true to the spirit of this celebration without having to go through too much trouble, here are some winning outfit suggestions for Halloween, whether you’re going to a party or celebrating at home.

Comfy ghost

If you’re throwing a party at home and you’re looking for the most comfortable Halloween costume in order to get everything ready and still enjoy yourself, becoming a comfy ghost is ideal. Think about it, some baggy trousers, a jumper and the most important part, a pair of really comfy slippers. The new Havaianas Fluffy in black, with a soft, synthetic sheepskin trim, are perfect for keeping you comfy and warm

You’re probably wondering, how is that a Halloween costume? Well on top of all that, you can put a sheet with two holes in it to receive your guests and give them a fright each time the doorbell rings!

Gothic touches

Taking Gothic culture as your inspiration is always a good idea when looking for an effective Halloween look that remains fashionable. You can get inspired by characters such as Morticia and Wednesday Addams, using black clothing with a touch of purple or red. You could also transform your look into one with vampirish hints, adding a large choker or clothes with ruffles at the neck.

Urban witch

Halloween isn’t Halloween without witches, so why not become an urban witch? Take advantage of the fact that the boho trend has returned with a vengeance and combine clothes such as airy dresses or full skirts in dark colours with metal belts, lace kimonos, and, of course, some sandals to complete your Halloween outfit, and start to bewitch left and right.

Good or bad?

You decide what you want to be, the good thing is that you can achieve a really comfy and simple Halloween costume just by opting for a certain colour. If you choose an all-white look and you complement it with wings, you could be that guardian angel that ensures you do good in your daily life… But if you’re going for something more hardcore, you could choose an all-black look and become the devil that encourages everyone to act out. Which do you prefer?

Miaow! Catwoman costume

In a season when synthetic leather is one of the key trends, it is almost impossible not to think of Catwoman. All you need are some leggings, a jacket, a pair of boots and a mask to transform into this anti-heroine with so many followers. Comfortable and, above all, a sexy Halloween outfit, the best combination!

Halloween outfits for men

Just as with the outfits for women, the options are endless when it comes to ideal Halloween looks for men. More comfortable, more sophisticated or scarier… You decide what to wear on 31 October, we’re just providing some ideas.

Bloodsucker: Vampire costume

A vampire is a classic Halloween costume, but our suggestion includes a slight twist to bring this look up to date. Combining an all-black look with an open shirt, a pair of espadrilles and fangs is all you need to get the most out of the scariest night of the year.

Burtonesque: Tim Burton style

If there is one film director that comes to mind when thinking about films that are perfect for Halloween, it’s Tim Burton. Why not become a burtonesque figure, with black trousers and a white shirt, or even better, black and white stripes like Beetlejuice’s outfit? The only complement you’ll need is good eye make-up.

John Wick

The Halloween outfits for men cannot fail to include inspiration from one of the most successful sagas in recent years, John Wick. It’s an opportunity to get out your formal clothes and add a twist with some fake blood on your face, to make it look as though you’ve just finished one of the character’s legendary fights.

Pure 80s

The eighties are the perfect decade to look for inspiration for the ideal Halloween look. Get inspired by characters such as Marty McFly from the Back to the Future saga, with his padded gilet and jeans. Or you could opt for a rocker character like Eddie Munson from the series Stranger Things. What’s your style?

Pure horror

If there’s something that stands out about all of the great serial killers in the history of cinema, it’s their clothes and accessories. From Freddy Kruger’s jumper to Jason Voorhees’s hockey mask in Friday 13th, to the Ghostface costume in Scream. What if you were to incorporate one of these iconic items in your Halloween outfit?

Towns with charm: Europe’s most beautiful

Europe is a continent replete with natural and architectural wonders, and within its borders, its towns are true gems that captivate all who visit them. From the coastal landscapes of Portugal to the United Kingdom’s green hills, each one of these towns offers a unique experience that combines history, tradition and beauty. Come with us on a trip to Europe’s most beautiful towns.

Spain’s most beautiful towns

Rural Spain is one of the country’s best-kept secrets, given that not everyone is familiar with the wealth and diversity of the towns scattered over its lands. Some stand out for the singular beauty of their landscape, others for their past, others for their unique architecture… Read on to discover this cultural wealth and diversity.

It is difficult to make an objective selection and restrict the list to just ten of the most beautiful towns in Spain. After reading our list, feel free to change it or add more as you make your own discoveries travelling through the country’s most beautiful places.

Cudillero (Asturias)

Cudillero is one of the most beautiful towns in the north of Spain. Cudillero stands out for its marine atmosphere and its architecture, houses with glass balconies that offer views of the Cantabrian Sea in all its splendour.

As you climb up and down its winding streets you can visit lookout points like El Faro, El Pico, Cimadevilla and La Atalaya, as well as the fish market and the chapel of El Humilladero.

Deià (Mallorca)

Both locals and foreigners are captivated by Deià’s Mediterranean charm. It is one of the most beautiful towns in Spain thanks not only to its location in the Serra de Tramuntana, but also because its unique light creates a magical atmosphere in its pine and olive woods.

Deià’s sloping streets invite you to get lost in the moment and enjoy the little things in life. When visiting Deià be sure to pack some beautifully feminine espadrilles to comfortably stroll along its cobbled streets.

Garachico (Tenerife)

Garachico represents the history of the island of Tenerife in its purest form. The colourful small town survived a volcanic eruption in 1706, even though its port was destroyed. The port was the main economic engine of the town of Garachico and was central to the lives of its inhabitants at that time.

Today, Garachico expresses the essence of the island, with its cobbled streets and colonial architecture and also its natural swimming pools, which allow you to bathe in the Atlantic.

Olvera (Cádiz)

Cádiz’s landscape of white houses has made the province popular, but not all its beauty lies on the coast. One of Spain’s most charming towns is Olvera, 640 metres above sea level in the Sierra de Cádiz

This small Cádiz town is full of history, which is borne out by monumental buildings like Olvera Castle, the church of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación and the remains of a 12th-century Muslim fortress, whose keep and cistern can still be seen. It is a clear example of the melting pot of cultures that Spain has been throughout its long history.

Besalú (Girona)

Besalú is a town in which you can contemplate the past from the present. Chock-full of Romanesque buildings, including its iconic bridge, this medieval town is one of the best preserved in the whole of Catalonia

Cobbled, labyrinthine streets, traditional crafts and typical gastronomic products are just some of the things you can find on a visit to what is considered to be one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Spain.

Liérganes (Cantabria)

Declared a National Complex of Historic-Artistic Interest in 1978, Liérganes became famous in the 17th century thanks to playing host to the Royal Artillery Factory. The prosperity that this brought with it means that today we can enjoy architectural gems likes the Cuesta-Mercadillo Palace, the church of San Sebastián and the church of San Pedro ad Vincula.

If on your holidays, you visit its monumental spa, the oldest in Cantabria (active since 1717), don’t forget to pack some flip flops.

Betancuria (Fuerteventura)

The history of Betancuria dates back to 1404, when Jean de Béthencourt and Gadifer de la Salle settled there after fleeing the dangers of the coast. However, over the centuries, in addition to being one of the most beautiful towns in Spain, it has also become one of its emptiest.

The desert island of Fuerteventura is home to this gem nestled in its arid, golden landscape, a small oasis of white buildings and Canary Island balconies, including the mother church of La Concepción.

Guadalupe (Cáceres)

Guadalupe is of the towns that have played a key role in the history of Spain. Not in vain do its buildings include the Royal Monastery of Santa María de Guadalupe, a Wold Heritage Site.

But along with historical buildings like the Baroque church of La Santa Trinidad and the Las Eras arch, you can find great works of pictorial art, such as those in the Gothic cloister of the monastery painted by renowned masters like El Greco, Goya and Zurbarán. An absolute must for lovers of art and history

Peñíscola (Castellón)

Once the home of the Knights Templar, it is now considered to be one of Spain’s most beautiful towns. Peñíscola’s unique silhouette is one of the symbols and attractions of this spectacular Mediterranean town. A rock high above the sea was the reason why this place was chosen as the site for the Templar fortress, which would later serve as the home of the Papa Luna (Antipope Benedict XIII).

Along the steep and winding streets of the rest of the town you can find more signs of its historic importance, such as the city walls in Plaza Santa María and Artillería Park.

Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia)

We end our selection with the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz in Murcia. Beyond the beach and sunshine generally associated with Murcia, Caravaca is a great destination for lovers of history and art and also of active tourism.

If you visit it, an absolute must is the Basilica of Vera Cruz, as well as routes like the Camino de Levante, which allows you to also discover the surrounding towns. But, whatever your plans and whatever the time of year, don’t forget to protect yourself from the sun with sunscreen and a cap or a hat.

The United Kingdom’s most beautiful towns

Èze (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur)

Standing atop a hill, Èze is a medieval town with a spectacular location that offers panoramic views of the Mediterranean. Its steep, narrow streets, replete with traditional craft shops and art galleries, are an invitation to explore every corner.
